To import settings saved from a different instance of BarTender, use the Import Settings option, and browse to the desired settings file. Using this dialog, you can specify a file name and location for the BarTender settings file. To export all of the configuration files, select Export Settings to open the Save File dialog. The settings contained within each of BarTender's configuration files can be saved in a single XML document and transferred between instances of BarTender. Navigate to the desired directory and enter the desired filename for the configuration file. To do so, highlight the desired configuration file and select Select Location. Using this tab, you can modify the location and/or select a different file name for each file.
